Mahesh Chhipa and his master-artisan sister Gayatri lead a traditional atelier in Sanganer. They hand-carve their own teak wood relief blocks, formulate natural indigo and madder vegetable dyes, and meticulously appliqué metallic gold gota ribbons into lightweight georgettes and festive kurtas.
